the former Dennis' (currently Drews) restaurant in Forest Hills.

Home Inc., corner of Shaw and Triboro avenues, Turtle Creek, where services
will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday. Interment will follow at Restland-Lincoln
Memorial Park.

Boyertown, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007 in Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.
Born in Montgomery on July 11, 1956, he was the son of the late Charles A. and
Betty J. (Mealey) Belsterling. Mark was a software engineer designer for GE
Aerospace, now Lockheed-Martin, King of Prussia for 17 years, last working
2002, and then self-employed.
Surviving with his wife of 14 years is a brother, Chuck A., wife of
Kathy Belsterling of Blue Bell; a sister, Jan M. Skyrm of Pike Twp.; four
nephews: Chuck A. Belsterling II, Eli G. Skyrm, Joshua C. Skyrm and Robert E. Blankenship; and four nieces: Melissa R.. Belsterling, Jessica A. Belsterling, Amy R. Skyrm and Stephanie N. Blankenship.

Pamela Joy Inlow Blankenship, 43, of Downingtown, Pennsylvania, formerly of Bolivar, died
Friday, November 25, 2005 at Chester County Hospital in West Chester, Penn. The
wife of Timothy Dale Blankenship, who
survives, she was a homemaker. Mrs.
Blankenship was born May 24,
1962 at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, daughter of Mike Inlow of
Bolivar and the late Joyce Lundberg Inlow. She lived in Jackson before making
her home in Pennsylvania in 2004 and her family will always remember her as a
loving and dedicated mother.
Services were 11 am Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at Shackelford
Funeral Directors Bolivar chapel with Keith Hayworth officiating. Burial was in
Bolivar Memorial Cemetery.
In addition to her husband, whom she married December 8, 1988 and
her father, she is survived by her daughter and son, Molly and Hunter
Blankenship of Downingtown,
Penn; one brother and his wife, Judge and Gina Inlow of Bolivar; nephew, Casey
Inlow of Bolivar; and parents-in-law, Joe and Betty Blankenship of Humboldt.

Lennette Marie Madonna, 67, of New Garden, died of a brief illness
Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008, at Jennersville Regional Hospital. She was the wife of
the late Francis S. Madonna, a decorated Korean War veteran and longtime member
of the I.B.E.W. who passed away this same week three years ago. Lennette was
born in Chester County and was the daughter of the late Lee W. Lam and Juanita
Lam of West Grove. Lennette served as a Pennsylvania state constable for New
Garden Township since 1977, though basically retired for the past few years due
to health issues.
She is survived by her mother, Juanita Lam of West Grove, as well
as her son, the Rev. Michael G. Blankenship and
his wife, Lori, and much beloved granddaughter, Emily, of Norfolk, Va. She was
preceded in death by her husband, Francis; and her brother, David Lam.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Sept. 5, at Christ
Community Fellowship Church, 356 Chatham Road, West Grove. Family and friends
may call during a viewing, which will be held at the church from 5 to 7 p.m.
with a funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. The Rev. D. Dale Dickson, her
longtime pastor, will be officiating. Interment will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in
the church cemetery.

Virginia is survived by one son, George W. Koons, Jr. husband of

Barbara Kauffman Mitchell, 56, died unexpectedly after a brief
illness on Friday afternoon November 7, 2008 at Hamot Medical Center. A
lifelong Erie resident, she was born in Erie on July 8, 1952 a daughter of the
late Byron and May Welz Kauffman. Barbara was a 1970 graduate of Tech Memorial
High School and had belonged to St. John's Lutheran Church. She enjoyed working
with the public and had been a beautician for years. Recently she had been a
homemaker and loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved
movies, game shows, shopping, jewelery and especially loved her animals.
Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Richard "Rick"
Mitchell; one daughter, Richelle Blankenship of
Erie; one son, Brodie Mitchell and his significant other, Anissa Andrews of
Saegertown, Pa.; one sister, May Hess and her husband Richard of Erie; four

Ira D. “Sarge” Chambers Jr., 66, of 12460 Polktown Road,
Waynesboro, was found dead in his home Saturday, June 28, 2008. His death
was unexpected and attributed to natural causes. Born Oct. 13, 1941, in
Narrows, Va., he was the son of the late Ira D. Sr. and Helen B. (Blankenship) Chambers. Mr. Chambers was a 1960 graduate
of Narrows High School. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany, Alaska and
Hawaii and completed two tours in Taiwan. He retired in 1984 as master
sergeant following 24 years of service. Mr. Chambers enjoyed collecting old
military firearms and woodworking.
He is survived by one sister, Gwendolyn E. Dalton of Woodbridge,
Va.; one brother, Phillip W. Chambers of Waynesboro; and several nieces and
nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former
wife, Darlene L. (Hinsley) Chambers, and one brother, William N. Chambers.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Grove-Bowersox Funeral

Louisa K. Blankenship passed away in her home late Monday afternoon January 11, 2010, in
Bethlehem, surrounded by her loved ones. Louisa was a graduate of Liberty High
School and Northampton Community Colleges School of Nursing. She also attended
Gordon College in Wenham, Massachusetts. She was also a certified nutritional
consultant. As an RN, Louisa worked for Sacred Heart Hospital, St. Lukes
Hospital and Bethlehem Area Visiting Nurses.
In the last twelve years she worked independently as a certified
nutritional consultant (RN, CNC), helping to create alternative and
complementary medical programs for those who were searching for health and
healing. She was an also an integral part of the health care team at the Center
of Family Health in Catasauqua. Louisa loved the outdoors, and enjoyed many
travel and hiking adventures across the country and throughout the world. She
also enjoyed music and throughout the years had led worship for a number of
fellowship groups. Louisa had a close relationship with the Lord, having faith
that the Lord was in control of her life. She most recently attended Faith
Evangelical Free Church.
Survivors: Especially missing her will be her loving husband, David C. Blankenship; her parents, Joseph H. Kricks and Kathryn
K. Kricks; her daughter, Sarah
K. Petryk; her daughters husband, John J. Nee Jr.; her son, Jonathan W.
Petryk and his better half, Michelle Bernier.
Services: A celebration of her life will be held at First

The Rev. Jesse G.
Blankenship III, 78, of 31 S.
18th St., Lewisburg, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009, at Buffalo Valley
Lutheran Village, Lewisburg. He was born Dec. 20, 1930, in Birmingham, Ala., a
son of the late Jesse G. Jr. and Virgie (Allen) Blankenship. He and his wife of 56 years, the former Ruth B. Bloom, were
married June 3, 1953.
A 1949 graduate of Woodlawn High School in Birmingham, he received
a degree in speech and psychology from Samford University in 1953 and later
graduated from Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary, now Palmer. During this
time, he also served his country by enlisting in the Marine Corps Reserve. From
1953 until 1957 while attending the seminary, he served as pastor at Gulf Mills
Congregational Christian Church, Philadelphia. The next seven years he also
served as a pastor, first at First Baptist Church in Slatington from 1958 until
1960 and then at the Luzerne Avenue Baptist Church in West Pittston from 1960
until 1964.
In 1964, he accepted a position as chaplain at the Laurelton State
Hospital, where he served until 1975, when he left to become the institution
chaplain at Danville State Hospital, a position he held until retiring in 1996.
The Rev. Blankenship unofficially was the chaplain of the
Lewisburg Area High School football team for 31 years. He was a member of many
area ministeriums, including Mifflinburg, Lewisburg and Danville, as well as
other surrounding areas. Through the years, he also substituted as a supply
minister for many area churches. The Rev. Blankenship was a 45-year member of
First Baptist Church, Lewisburg. He enjoyed spending the evenings with his
friends at the Country Cupboard, where he was lovingly known as
"Smokey." The Rev.
Blankenship was instrumental
in forming the Keystone Blade Club and enjoyed guns and target shooting. He was
a train enthusiast, an avid woodworker and enjoyed yard work.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are one son and
daughter-in-law, Jesse G. IV and Eva Blankenship, of Dallas, Texas; two daughters and sons-in-law, Leota R. and Daniel Juliano, of Daytona Beach, Fla., and Lynda R. and Jerry Barrett, of Lewisburg; one brother and sister-in-law, Paul A. and Frances Blankenship, of
Birmingham, Ala.; and 14 grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred V. Blankenship.
A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Sunday in First
Baptist Church, 51 S. Third St., Lewisburg, officiated by his pastor, the Rev.
MacKenzie Scott. Friends will be received in the church fellowship hall
following the service. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the
family in Lewisburg Cemetery.

Harold Ellis, He was born Dec. 23, 1945, in Chandlers Valley, the
son of the late Harry William and Georgia Mahalia Spencer Ellis. He attended
the former Northern Area High School, now Eisenhower High School. He had been
employed as a welder, auto mechanic, carpenter, heavy duty equipment operator
and worked in the oil fields. He was a member of the former Evangelical United
Bretheran Church in Chandlers Valley, now Evangelical United Methodist Church. He
was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed playing baseball when younger.
He is survived by a daughter, Lora Blankenship of
Monticello, Ga.; two grandchildren: Ashley and Austin Blankenship of Monticello; a brother, Edmund Perry
Ellis Sr. of Chandler Valley; and a sister, Laura Marie Ellis Donner of Corona,
Calif.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant
daughter, Sherrie Rebecca Ellis, who died April 28, 1972; and a sister, Lenna
Belle Ellis Bobelak, who died May 12, 1996.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Sugar
Grove Branch McKinney Funeral Home. The Rev. Paul Fields, minister of the
Evangelical United Methodist Church in Chandlers Valley, will officiate.
Interment will be in Chandlers Valley Cemetery, Chandlers Valley.

Carolyn Blankenship,
She was born on Oct. 2, 1937, in Kinzua, the daughter of the late Boyd and Edna
Mae Bennett Crooks Sr. A lifelong
resident of the Warren area, she was employed by Berenfield Containers in
Clarendon for 22 years, retiring in 1993. She was also a waitress in several
area restaurants and a self-employed seasonal confectionaire. She belonged to
the Clarendon Veterans of Foreign War Ladies Auxiliary and was a member of
Steelworkers Union serving as secretary.
She is survived by four children: Donna Blankenship of Jamestown, Garley
Blankenship of Sheffield, Michael Blankenship of Tiona, and Wanda Blankenship of Youngsville, Pa.; three brothers:
Charles Crooks of Sheffield, James Crooks of Youngsville and Thomas Crooks of
Medford, Mass.; a sister, Mary Ann Tennis of California; 10 grandchildren; and
10 great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was two brothers: Boyd Crooks Jr. and
Richard Crooks. A funeral will be held at the funeral home at 5 p.m. Saturday.
The Rev. Neil Seifert, pastor of Emanuel United Church of Christ, will
officiate. Burial will be in Barnes Cemetery.

Lillian Irene Blevins, 80, of Charleroi, Pa., died Thursday in
Charleroi.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Dale Blevins of Charleroi and
Steven Ozine Blevins of Hudson, Fla.; and three daughters, Delores Elaine
Rogers of Lynchburg, Tenn., Vicky Regina Boyden of Austin, Texas, and Elma Anita Blankenship of Barboursville.
Graveside service 11 a.m. Monday at Ridgelawn Memorial Park. No
visitation.

James Andrew "Andy" Blankenship, 10, of the Clyde area of New Florence
died Thursday, Oct. 17, 2002, at Children's Hospital, Pittsburgh, after
fighting a courageous five-year battle with cancer. He was born April 14, 1992, in Pittsburgh, the
son of Mike and Gloria Kristoff
Blankenship. Andy attended Brush
Valley United Methodist Church. He had been a fifth grader at United Elementary
School. He had participated in AYSO soccer and had been a member of Brush
Valley Cub Scout Pack 9.
He is survived by his parents; brothers and sisters Russell, Sara and John, at home; paternal grandparents Paul and Anna Belle Henry Blankenship, Brush Valley; aunt Rita Blankenship, Eugene, Ore.; great-aunts, great-uncles
and cousins. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Francis J. and
Irene R. Voytko Kristoff and paternal grandmother Betty Louise Palmer Blankenship.
A service was held Monday at the Brush Valley United Methodist
Church with Rev. John A. Logan officiating. Interment was in Armagh Cemetery.

Arthur L. Morrison, 87, of Laceyville RR2, PA, passed away on
Wednesday, May 15, 2002 at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre. Born July 13,
1914 in Waverly, PA, he was the son of the late Frank and Laura Monroe
Morrison. He was married to the former Ina Blankenship,
who predeceased him on March 15, 1993.
Mr. Morrison was a retired dairy farmer, raising Montvalley
Registered Holstein cattle that were known throughout the U. S. and Canada. He
belonged to the Evergreen Christian Church in New Albany. He was a graduate of
the Waverly High School, Class of 1932. Arthur was one of the founding dairy farmers
for Select Sire, Inc., served on Wyoming County Conservation District board of
directors, former member of the Wyalusing school board and active in 4-H clubs
in Wyoming County.
Survivors include a son, Arthur W. "Spud" Morrison,
Laceyville; a daughter, Mary J. Moon, New Albany; three grandchildren; three
great-grandchildren; three nieces and two special friends, Don Zimmerman and
Tom Mulhern. Besides his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by two
sisters, Myrtle Pentecost and Alice Nottage and two brothers, Melvin and Glenn.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 18 at 1:30 p.m. at the
Harding-Litwin Funeral Home, 123 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, with the Rev.
Michael Dodd of the Evergreen Christian Church, New Albany, officiating.
Interment was in the Mount Bethel Cemetery, Justus.

Sarah Pickett Blankenship, 35, of Mill City, Pa., went home to her Lord and Savior following
a brief and unexpected hospital stay on Thursday, Oct.
8, 2009.
Sarah is survived by her husband, Kyle; her
son, Isaac; twin step-children, Amanda and Brooke; her parents, Carl (Edie) Pickett of Port
Charoltte, Fla., Caroline and Robert Rubendall of Towanda; two siblings,
Jennifer (Mark) Sheeley of Ulster and Seth Pickett of Towanda; nieces and nephews,
Jessica, Heather, Daniel and Logan; several aunts and uncles; her dearest
friend, Aimee Largent and many special friends.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. with the Rev. James Rugg
officiating. Following the service, a luncheon will be held at the Church.
Burial will be held in the Franklin Center Cemetery.
