Wilburn Ardell Glenn was born on Friday, June 28, 1929 in Courtney Flats, Oklahoma to Earl R. and Lillie Violet (Blankenship) Glenn. He passed from this life on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 in Denison, Texas at the age of 80 years, 9 months and 2 days. Wilburn married Margie McGehee on June 5, 1951 in Calera, Oklahoma. He was a member of the Bushnell Baptist Church. Wilburn loved Bluegrass and Gospel music and playing his fiddle in several bands in the area. Mr. Glenn greatest passion in life was cheering people up. He enjoyed fishing and camping.

Ruby Ann Farrar March 9, 1942 - November 4, 2011, Yukon. After more than a six-year battle with cancer, Ruby passed away peacefully. She was one of two children born to and raised by Ozella Lister, Jim Carter, Gaston and Freda Lister, as well as Leo St. Onge.

Ruby was born in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. She grew up in Maysville, Oklahoma, and later Highland Park, San Antonio. She married Joseph Marschall Farrar Jr. on March 18, 1960 in San Antonio, Texas, and together they had four children. They moved from San Antonio, Texas, to Oklahoma in 1962, and she was an Oklahoman the majority of her life. She spent her life caring for her family and caring for others as a Nurse's Aide.

Ruby will be forever remembered by her devoted family: her loving husband of 52 years, Joseph Marschall Farrar Jr; her treasured daughter, Ruby "Neisee" Denise Blankenship of Yukon, OK; her beloved son, Paul Eugene Farrar of Honolulu, Hawaii; two grandchildren: granddaughter, Kristina Small; and grandson, Mason Blankenship; and one brother, Vernon St. Onge.

Ruby passed from this life to join her children: daughter, Cassandra Marie Farrar; son, Joseph Marschall Farrar III; and son-in-law, Michael "Bubba" Blankenship; who preceded her in death. Ruby touched the lives of all who knew her with her spirited nature, her welcoming smile and her sense of humor all the way till the end.

The family, at Ruby's request, will bereave her privately. A memorial celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Ruthie Odell Jack Gibson, 72, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2011, at Ardmore, Okla.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, September 5, 2011, at Griffin ~ Hillcrest Chapel with Reverend Bradford Buchanan officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Ardmore, Okla.

Ruthie was born on March 18, 1939, in Ardmore, Okla., to Roy Lee Smith and Verna Hazel (Petty) Smith. Ruthie attended Dickson Schools and later received her GED at the age of 38. She married James T. Jack on January 14, 1956, in Gainesville, Texas. The couple made their life in Ardmore, where she gave life to her four children. After a tragic accident that left Ruthie a young widow, she directed all her energy to raising her three girls. She was a single parent for 13 years when she married William Luther Gibson in September, 1978, in Ardmore, Okla. Ruthie worked as a cook in local nursing homes until her retirement. She enjoyed working in her flower garden.

Ruthie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; infant son, James Leon Jack; sisters, Louise Chastain, Minnie Berry, and Nettie Jones; brothers, C.R. "Sonny" Smith and Joseph Smith.

Ruthie is survived by her husband, William Buck Gibson of the home; daughters, Paula Bumpass and husband, David, Stephanie Perryman and husband, Clarence, and Kathy Jack all of Ardmore; step-children, Mary Blankenship and husband, Terry of Stratford, Okla., Linda Haynes and husband, Doyle of Stratford, Okla., William "Bucky" Gibson and wife, Sherry of Ardmore, Okla., Joyce Brown of Stratford, Okla., and Jackie Gibson of Ardmore, Okla.; four grandchildren, LaCrysha Hughes and husband, Kelby of Ardmore, Okla., MaKenzie Perryman of Ardmore, Okla., Amber Melton of Lone Grove, Okla. and Matthew Bumpass of Ardmore, Okla.; one sister, Guardey Poe of Haywood, Okla.; nine step-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; Baylie Hughes and Nathan Hughes.

Services for Dequita Jo Ashcraft, 81, of Ardmore, Okla., will be at 2 p.m. Friday, October 21, 2011, in the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home Chapel, Marietta, Okla., with the Rev. Ron Elmore officiating. Interment in the Leon Cemetery, Leon, Okla., will follow under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services.

Ms. Ashcraft was born December 3, 1929, at Leon, the daughter of Verlin W. "Rip" and Anna Wrather Ashcraft. She passed away Monday, October 17, 2011, in the Arbuckle Memorial Hospital, Sulphur, Okla.

A resident of Davis, Okla., since March 2004, Ms. Ashcraft had previously made her home in Ardmore. She was a dealer of antiques and also a tax consultant for H&R Block. Ms. Ashcraft enjoyed collecting antiques and served on the Ardmore Historical Museum Board for a number of years.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law, Keith and Connie Blankenship and Bob G. Blankenship, all of Ardmore; daughter and son-in-law, Suzette and Dee Paxton of Placerville, Calif.; two sisters and brother-in-law, Gayle and Larry Hicks of Jimtown, Okla., and Joy Ward of Ardmore; four grandchildren, Bryan, Shannon, Joseph and Tresa; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as bearers will be Bryan Blankenship , Larry Hicks, Joel Hicks, Mike Mayes and Trey Mayes. Viewing will be from noon until 5 p.m. today and 8:30 a.m. until service time on Friday at Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home

She was born July 23, 1920, at "Ragtown" Wirt, Oklahoma, to Joseph Elmer and Mary Pearl Phipps Jackson, she passed from this life October 14, 2011.

Marcelle spent her childhood at Fox, Oklahoma. She moved to San Francisco during World War II, where she worked in the shipyards as a welder. Later she worked at Macey's Department store in San Francisco as a gift wrapper. After the war she moved back to Fox where she met and married Oscar Hayward, there they made their home. In later years Oscar and Marcelle loved to set out on the front porch and wave at all their friends as they passed by. Marcelle took pleasure in having all of her family at her house for meals and get togethers. She always had a pot of coffee on for anyone coming by, and loved to visit.

Marcelle was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather, Emery Hall "Papa;" her husband, Oscar; five sisters, Evelyne Harris, Loretta Blevins, Maudine Smart, Charlsa Mae Ezzell, and Oma Ruth Norman; two brothers, J. E. Jackson and Jessie Jackson.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law Sherian and Larry Blankenship of Courtney; grandchildren Kerry, Larry Don and wife, Gina Blankenship of Courtney; three great-grandchildren, Justin, Paige, and Taryn Blankenship; one sister-in-law, Judy Schworts; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life for Mrs. Lillie Ellen (Stafford) Hacker, 93, is scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, May 15, 2010 at the Wilson Assembly of God Church with Bro. Wayne Howard and Rev. Monte Dean officiating. She will be laid to rest at Hewitt Cemetery in Wilson with Rev. David Gardner officiating. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson.

Lillie was born July 3, 1916 in Stephens County, OK near Comanche to the late Bob ”Poppie” Irving Stafford and Martha Emiline (Blankenship) Stafford. She went to be with the Lord Tuesday, May 11, 2010 surrounded by her family at a healthcare facility in Ardmore.

Lillie and the late Mr. George W. Hacker were united in marriage October 24, 1933 at Ardmore. She attended church at the Country Tabernacle in Lone Grove and at Rexroat Baptist Church in Wilson. She worked at Jims Café in Lone Grove and was also as Nurse’s Aide at Memorial Hospital in Ardmore. She also cared for people in their homes.

Lillie was a good Christian woman who worked her entire life to better her children. She loved to go camping and fishing. She also enjoyed having her family over on every Sunday for Dinner and games. She was always a very generous lady, always wanting to feed everyone and she always found good in every person. Her husband George preceded her in death after 68 ˝ years of marriage in 2002.

Also preceding her in death is her Parents, Bob and Martha Stafford, Infant grandchild, Sherry Diane Hacker, 2 Brothers, Tommy and Fred Stafford, 3 Sisters, Rosie Pruett, Betty Mitchell and Mattie Emerson and a Great Great Infant Grandson, Mikey Lee Isaac.

Survivors are her children, Gilbert “Gil” Hacker and wife Becky of Wilson, Billy Bob Hacker and wife Carrie of Wilson, Kenneth Hacker and wife Jane of Lone Grove, Vera Mae Williams and husband Bobby of Wilson, and Loran Hacker and wife Peggy of Lone Grove. Sister, Eva Stafford Briscoe of Ardmore. 18 Grandchildren, 30 Great Grandchildren, and 13 Great Great Grandchildren. Brothers in law & Sisters in law, O.L. & Maxine Gray, Billy Floyd and Judy Hacker, and Virginia Hacker, all of Wilson. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family.

Casket Bearers will be Grandsons – Wes Hacker, Les Hacker, Ricky Hacker, Steven Hacker, Chris Hacker, Matt Hacker, Caleb Hacker, Bob Moyers, Mike Hacker, Jeff Hacker, and Greg Hacker. Honorary Bearers will be Nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Essie Elere (Allen) Pruett, 90, longtime resident of this area, is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, January 8, 2011, at the Rexroat Baptist Church with Rev. Monte Dean officiating. Interment will follow at Hewitt Cemetery in Wilson.

Essie was born September 23, 1920, at Overbrook to the late Mr. John Wyatt Allen and Mrs. Della (Blankenship) Allen. She departed this life Wednesday, January 5, 2011, at Wilson. Mrs. Pruett was raised in the Ardmore area attending school at Baum, Marsden and Overbrook. She married the late Mr. Leonard Bradford Pruett March 29, 1941, at Stobtown. They initially resided at Stobtown, then Rexroat, before making their home in Wilson. Essie was a wonderful homemaker and devout mother. She loved to garden and always kept her yard nice. She always had chocolate chip cookies for her grandchildren and was always an excellent cook.

Her husband, Leonard preceded her in death on October 7, 1985. After his passing Essie started employment at the Wilson Nursing Home, working in the kitchen for 13 years. She was always involved in church, whether it was cooking at Falls Creek or helping Bible school. She was a longtime member of the Rexroat Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, Leonard, also preceding her in death was her parents; granddaughter, Jennifer Salsbury in 1997; three brothers, Claude, Melvin and Ervin Allen; and sister, Ethel Ellis.

Survivors include a son, Allen Pruett and wife, Anna Lee of Bartlesville; daughters, Betty Salsbury and husband, Boyd of Wilson, and Kathy Roberts and husband, Gary of The Woodlands, Texas; sister, Marie Watson of Ardmore; brother, William Allen and wife, Doris of Ardmore; grandchildren, Michael Ann Schrick and husband, Chad of Broken Arrow, Allison Pruett of Dallas, Summer Sanders and husband, Shawn of Wilson, Boyd Lynn Salsbury and wife, Jessica of Chickasha, Geremy Roberts of The Woodlands, Texas, and Rebecca Levy and husband, Mitch of Spring, Texas; and nine great-grandchildren, Noah, Ben and Caleb Schrick, Mason and Bladen Sanders, Ashlynn, Britton and Bryce Salsbury and one other "Baby Levy" due in July. Funeral for Joe Dean Rothell, 71, Chattanooga, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Chattanooga with the Rev. Joel Jackson, pastor of First Baptist Church of Chattanooga, officiating and Kenneth Couch assisting. Mr. Rothell died Friday, March 18, 2011, at his home in Chattanooga. Burial will be at Chattanooga Cemetery under direction of Gray Funeral Home, Grandfield.

He was born June 29, 1939, in Wright City, to Raymond and Syble Avery Rothell. He grew up and graduated from high school in Frederick. He served in the Army Reserve for eight years and was the head cook. He had worked as a carpenter since he was 15 years old and later became the elevator operator at Chattanooga Co-op, where he worked until his retirement. He married Lela Mae Mathews Boxley on Oct. 15, 1982, at First Baptist Church of Chattanooga. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Chattanooga.

Survivors include his wife, Lela Mae Rothell, of the home; two sons: Todd Rothell, Florida, and Joe Boxley, South Dakota; eight daughters and sons-in-law: Stacy and Kennedy Marquez, New Mexico; Laurie and John Paul Roden, Shannon and Manuel Chapa, and Kathy Jo and Agopito Chapa, all of Frederick; Charlotte and Joe Watson, Arkansas; Monica and Gary Bishop, Chattanooga; Carlene and Jeff Whittington, Grandfield; and Cindy and Ken Walker, South Korea; a brother and sister-in-law, R.C. and Judy Rothell, Frederick; three sisters and two brothers-in-law: Frances Edwards, Yale; Janie and Jerry Sebree and Ruby and Junior Blankenship , all of Frederick; 30 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.

She was born Oct. 13, 1915, to Henry W. and Anna Faye Blankenship Hutton in Beaver County, Okla. She died Saturday, April 23, 2011, in Enid, Okla. She moved to Enid and attended Enid High School. She attended and graduated from Enid Business college.

 She married Carl Boehm March 6, 1941, in Enid. He preceded her in death Nov. 21, 1993. She was a lifelong secretary and bookkeeper.

She is survived by sister, Carol Woods of Scottsdale, Ariz., and two sisters in-law, Shirley Hutton and Winifred Hutton. She also is survived by nephews, Brint Collins, Terry Collins, Jeff Hutton, David Woods and Lyn Collins. She also is survived by four nieces, Denise Wedaphol, Linda Hutton, Sandra Woods and Pam Hutton, as well as friends, Fred and Naomi Doss.

She is preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

Willa was born Sept. 11, 1929, in Enid to Leonard M. and Marguerite (Hale) Wells and died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011, at her home.

Ardis Gaylene Chandler of Wynnewood, Oklahoma was born to Paul and Janis (Turner) Blankenship on February 2, 1961 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma and passed from this life on April 1, 2011 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 50 years.

Gaylene graduated from Pauls Valley High School. She worked at Tios for 15 years. In her spare time, Gaylene enjoyed going to the lake, camping, cooking out and boating with her husband Bobby Jack. The highlight of her life was spending time with her grandkids and family. Her family will remember her for her leadership, always influential in their lives and made sure they were always ok first. The most important things she taught others about life were to love it and live it to the fullest and make others feel comfortable no matter what.

Mrs. Smith was born March, 18, 1917, to Marshall Doc and Cady Wilmot at her paternal grandfather's home north of Rosston. She was married to Elmo J. Smith on April 2, 1938. They raised their family on their farm north of Rosston.

 Survivors include a sister, Ardath Mae Wilmot Di Stefano; four children, Martha Blankenship , Thomas Smith, Susan Wicker and Ginger Schneider; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and 13 stepgreat-grandchildren.

Gene Arthur Smith, 64, of Altus was born Oct. 28, 1947, in Altus to Ola and Samuel Smith. He passed away Nov. 13, 2011, at his home in Altus.

Gene married Jackie Smith in Vernon, Texas, on April 20, 1972. He spent his working years self employed in the construction & concrete finishing business. Gene enjoyed listening to county oldies and adored his dogs Lucky and Squirt. Gene enjoyed watching football; he was an avid OU fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Jackie; two brothers, Junior Smith & Charles Dick Smith; and two sisters, Wanda Houston and Sue York.

Gene is survived by his three sisters, JoAnn Chester, Linda Tidwell, and Barbara Blankenship & husband David; one brother, Bobby Smith & wife Donna, all of Altus; one step son, Allen Campbell; close family friends, Louie Rush, Mack Rush & Larry Ceniceros; many nieces, nephews & a host of friends.

Graveside services will be held at the Granite City Cemetery on Wednesday at 2 p.m. with Pastor Heath Tucker officiating.

Funeral services for Mrs. Norma Willene (Blankenship) Porterfield, 75, of Ringling is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at the First Baptist Church of Ringling with the Rev. Mike Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Ringling Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers are Milton Huebsch, Paul Evans, Douglas Farris, Ray Sorrells, Matthew Farris, Dusty Nelsen, Cody Slawson and Corey Gillum. Honorary Bearers are Pete Gillum and Ted Tripp.

Norma was born August 9, 1936, at Erin Springs, Okla., to the late Mr. George "Bud" Samuel Blankenship and Mrs. Iola (Barnes) Blankenship. She departed this life Sunday evening, January 22, 2012, at her home west of Ringling.

Norma was raised in the Simon and Oswalt area and then later at Purcell. She married the late Mr. Ray L. Porterfield June 13, 1955, at Ringling. They made their permanent residence in Ringling in 1969, where Norma worked at the Pants Factory, the bank and finally the school cafeteria. She retired from the Ringling Public Schools in 1997. During her retirement years, she enjoyed doing family genealogy, her daily walks in the woods and feeding her birds. She also loved to attend her grand-children's ball games. Norma was a talented artist composing several paintings and also quilted many pieces for her family to treasure for years to come. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ringling and always enjoyed attending her Sunday school class there.

Preceding her in death was her parents; husband, Ray - May 2, 2000; sisters, Mae Logan, Ida Schoonover, Lena Hill, Corene Blankenship and Sue Hardcastle; brothers, Lawrence, Ernest and Bill Blankenship ; and granddaughter, Gabrielle Sorrells.

Survivors include her four daughters, Deborah Huebsch and husband, Milton of Madill, Susan Evans and husband, Paul of Newalla, Okla., Raye Farris and husband, Douglas of Ringling, and Kim Sorrells and husband, Ray of Antlers; special friend, Pete Gillum of Healdton; brother, Ira "Buck" Blankenship and wife, Betty of Oklahoma City; granddaughters, Tara, Katy, Annie, Sarah, Laura, Bonnie, Mary Jane and Rachel; grandsons, Cody and Matthew; six great-grandchildren; and numerous other nieces, nephews and other family.

She is survived by nine daughters, Melba Davidson of Spiro, Bernice Rhoades and husband Gerald of Fort Smith, Loretta Whitman and husband Bill of Fort Smith, Frances Myers of Spiro, Deborah Lample and husband Thomas of Spiro, Ruth Slankard and husband John of Fort Smith, Nina Goins and husband Duane of Fort Smith, Mildred Wilson and husband Robert of Fort Smith and Alice Fisk and husband Jim of Van Buren; one son, Lewis Schrimsher and wife Debbie of Spiro; 19 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Howard; one daughter, Barbara Carlile; one son, Howard “Sonny Boy” Schrimsher; one granddaughter, Angela Faye Fisk; three sisters, Irene, Melba and Leta; and one brother, Felix.

Shirley Loy Bugg Richardson died at her home in Meeker Friday, Oct. 7, 2011. She was born Aug. 6, 1937, in Shawnee, and left this world at age 74. Shirley was the daughter of Clarence Shirley Bugg and Helen Eloy Blankenship Bugg.

Shirley graduated from Dale High School in 1955. She married Raymond L. Batt, and they made their home in Stillwater. She attended beauty college and won several awards. She later owned and operated her own beauty shop. Shirley later married Kent Richardson and spent the next 30 years in Panama City Beach, Fla., where they owned a pawn shop. Her hobbies included sewing, needle point, crossword puzzles and fishing. She enjoyed traveling with her son as her raced the professional motorcycle circuit. She had a passion for animals, especially her cats.

After the death of her husband in February 2011, Shirley moved to live next door to her daughter, Kathie, in Meeker. They spent time gardening, going to garage sales and sitting on the deck. They attended Liberty Baptist Church together and enjoyed eating lunch out. One of her most cherished memories was going to the State Capitol and being introduced in the gallery as the great-grandmother of Kelsey Briggs during the reading of the Proclamation of Kelsey Briggs Day in the State of Oklahoma.

Shirley was proceeded in death by her parents; one daughter, Debra Rae Batt; and great-granddaughter, Kelsey Briggs.

She is survived by one daughter and spouse, Kathie and Royce Briggs of Meeker; one son, Bobby Goodin of Flower Mound, Texas; three sisters, Linda Arms, Janis Cotton, and Judy Bugg, all of Shawnee; seven grandchildren, Shirica Armitage, Jeanna Fowler and Robynn Stell of Meeker, Lance Briggs of Shawnee, Jacquelyn Mergaux of Flower Mound, Melissa Mergaux of Austin, Texas, and Jaymie Batt of Oklahoma City; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Mary Sue Hardcastle, of Washington, died Thursday, March 24, 2011, surrounded by family. Services will be 2 p.m. today at Union Hill Baptist Church, west of Purcell. Interment will be at the Washington Cemetery. Sue was born Sept. 1, 1940, in Oswald. She was the 10th child of George Samuel Bud Blankenship and Iola (Barnes) Blankenship.

Sue married the love of her life, Billy Gene Hardcastle, on April 28, 1956, in Washington. They were married for 49 years. Sue and Gene loved living in Washington and were strong members of the community. Sue was Genes partner in life and in business. They owned several businesses including the Warrior Drive Inn, the Washington Cafe and Genes Steakhouse. She was known in the community of Washington for her amazing cooking, especially her coconut crme pie. There are not many Washington residents who didn’t feel the love of Sues cooking. Sue was a generous woman who always looked out for people in need.

Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Gene; her parents, Bud and Iola Blankenship; three brothers, Lawerence, Ernest and Bill Blankenship; four sisters, May Logan, Ida Schoonover, Lena Hill and Corine Blankenship.

Survivors include five children: Three sons, Billy Gene Jr. and his wife Jennifer, Bobby Lee and his wife Cheryl, James Samuel and his wife Lori, all of Washington; and two daughters, Rhonda Jane Cannon and her husband Jimmy of Washington and Polly Jo Base and her husband Daniel of Norman; 14 grandchildren, Shawna Farmer, Gennifer Redeker, Robert Hardcastle, Chris Hardcastle, Collin Hardcastle, Michael Hardcastle, Addie Cannon, Jared Hardcastle, Jeremy Cannon, Kyle Hardcastle, Audrey Base, Brittley Base, Taylor Hardcastle and Madelaine Base; 12 great-grandchildren, Blaze and Brynn Farmer, Derek Trammell, Caleb, Hannah, Jacob, Emma, and Abigail Redeker, Harley, Tucker, and Jacob Hardcastle, KC Hardcastle; one sister Norma Porterfield of Ringling, and one brother, Ira Buck Blankenship of Oklahoma City. Nanabel Blankenship Porter, 95, died Monday, January 17, 2011. She was born in Cartersville, Oklahoma on January 25, 1915 to Curtis and Mattie Blankenship.

Nanabel attended Oklahoma State University and Northeastern State Teacher’s College (now Northeastern State University, Tahlequah) with a focus on art. She was a member of Sans Souci and Tri Sigma.

Nanabel was the beloved wife for forty-nine years of the late John W. Porter, Jr.; mother of Nita Porter Emrick (wife of George W. Emrick) of New Orleans, John W. Porter, III (deceased) and Mary Jane Porter of Tulsa.

Nanabel and her family were members of the First Presbyterian Church, where they were very involved in the ‘life’ of the church.  Nanabel was especially active in the Afternoon Circle. She also gave a lot of herself to the Girl and Boy Scouts as a Troup and Camp Leader.  She retired after twenty two years as Secretary in the U.S. Attorney’s Office.  She was active in the Muskogee Art Guild and frequently displayed her art at various sites around Muskogee. 

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church, 500 W. Broadway in Muskogee.

Wilma graduated from Springfield High School in 1934. She moved to Muskogee, OK in May of 1934 and married Troy Royse January 1, 1935. She worked at Klaus Manufacturing Company and Muskogee Regional Hospital, retiring in 1981. She attended Oldham Baptist Church for 45 years. Her life revolved around her family and church family.

Survivors include her three daughters and four sons and their spouses: Jo and Kelly Rolland, of Muskogee, Wayne Royse of Ft. Gibson, Jerry and Linda Royse of Muskogee, Helen and Rod Brassfield of Braggs, Shirley and Kenneth Burnes of Ft. Gibson, Ronnie Royse of Muskogee, Harold and Gail Royse of Muskogee, twenty grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren and 18 great great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Wilma is preceded in death by her husband, one son Darrell, a brother Ray Fletcher, her sister Peg Blankenship, four brothers-in-law, and three sisters-in-law.

A funeral service has been scheduled for 1:30 PM Friday, May 27, 2011 at Oldham Memorial Baptist Church in Muskogee with Reverend Tom Shelton officiating. Those serving as pallbearers include her grandchildren and great grandchildren Chris Rolland, Donald Royse, Brian Royse, Dwayne Royse, Colton Hardesty, and Dylan Duncan. Annie was a member of the Muskogee Twirlers Square Dance Club, a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4977 Auxiliary and Mountain View Extension Homemakers. Annie will be remembered by many neighbors, relatives and friends by the kind deeds she did for others.

Annie Owens, 77 of Muskogee, Oklahoma was born on May 24, 1934 in Texanna, Oklahoma to Andy and Maggie (Leach) Leader. She married Joe Owens, November 23, 1954. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe of 46 years; her parents; brother, Harrell Leader; sisters, Polly Robinson and Betty Jo Leader; son-in-law, Scott Rouse.

Gayle Ann Cherry, 96, of Nowata, Oklahoma passed away on June 29, 2011 at Parks Edge Nursing Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born to Henry and Anna (Reed) Wolf in Delaware, Oklahoma on December 11, 1914.

Gayle graduated from Delaware High School where she lived in the area until she moved to San Francisco, CA. She lived there for about forty years before moving to the Grand Lake area for fifteen years and then made her home in Nowata. She made her living as a telephone operator. Gayle was a member of the United Methodist Church in Nowata and very active with the Senior Citizen’s Center. She loved to paint appliqué’s that she used to make quilts. In the nursing home, she painted baskets and birdhouses. One of Gayle’s hobbies was reading. She loved for her yard to look nice and would sit on her front porch in her rocking chair. She also loved her many pets.

Mrs. Cherry is survived by one son, Jerry M. Lester and wife Jana of Bartlett, Texas; two grandchildren, Ray Lester of Aixa-Provence, France, and Shannon Platz and husband Oliver of Malterdingen, Germany and two great grandchildren, Ellen and Andy Platz.

Gayle is preceded by her parents, Henry and Anna Wolf; two children, James R. Lester and Mary Ann Glen; five sisters, Velma McGuffin, Uetta Wolf, Gladys Blankenship, Erma Suddarth, and Dorothy Trow, and two brothers, Harold Wolf and Howard Wolf.

Michael Lacy Blankenship was born May 30, 1962 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma to Barbara Riggs Blankenship. He passed away June 6, 2010 at his home in Bethany, Okla., at the age of 48 years.

Mike grew up in the Pauls Valley area and graduated in 1980. He received an academic scholarship to attend Southeastern University in the tennis program. He also went to Spartans Aeronautical School of Flying and became an AMP technician to repair aircraft. He had a great love for flying, handgliders and experimental aircraft. He also loved his dog Abe. Mike was a perfectionist in everything he worked on. He built model airplanes and model rockets, which he was always shooting into the sky, amazing his family.

Mike was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack and Opal Riggs of Pauls Valley, and Granddad Burnie Drennan of Elmore City.

He is survived by his wife Marianne, his son Michael Jr. of Norman, brother Steve of Wynnewood, parents Max and Barbara Drennan of Wynnewood, one aunt Jan Williams, two uncles Ronnie and Tommie Riggs, grandmother Noma Drennan of Elmore City, and numerous cousins.

Services were conducted in Piedmont, Oklahoma on Saturday, June 12, 2010.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis (Frank) Xavior and Marion Elizabeth Frost Ford, and by a sister, Virginia Ford Hatch. She was born in Dennison, Texas, and attended Dennison High School. She married Billy Blankenship on September 6, 1955. They moved to Oklahoma City in 1961 where she raised her family. She was an active member of Woodmen of the World American Legion Auxiliary and the Portland Avenue Baptist Church. The family would like to publicly thank Dr. Michael J. Keefer and his staff for the best care possible.

Services will be at 2 pm on Wednesday, February 10, 2010, at Portland Avenue Baptist Church with Minister Tony Mullican officiating. Interment with graveside service will be a 1 pm on Friday, February 12, at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Sherman, Texas.

John Mark Robbins "Rob" was born in Oklahoma City, OK on April 6, 1949 and went to be with his Lord, Friday, July 16, 2010. John was married to Brenda Sharon (DeHart) Robbins in 1972. He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Robbins; sisters, Mary Ruth Grossman and Marty Jean Komo.

John is survived by his mother, Nadine (Winterhalter) Robbins of Pittsburgh, PA; wife, Brenda S. (DeHart) Robbins of Midwest City; sons, Jay B. and Jon M. Robbins of Midwest City; his sons' significant others, Tracy Kovarik and Shannon Fields; brother, R. Michael Robbins; three sisters, Millie Blankenship, Becky Swain and Debe Weiss; many nieces and nephews, besides many, many friends.

John grew up a minister's son in parsonages in Oklahoma and Kansas and on the Campus of Eastern Christian College in Maryland. He graduated Bel Air High School in Bel Air, Maryland, in 1967. After graduation he attended Bible College in Creswell, MD. John joined the United States Air Force in February 1969 and was assigned to the 62nd Air Base Group, McChord AFB, Washington, from 1969-1971; Air Force Office of Investigations, Washington, DC, 1971-1975; The United States Officer Exchange Program (NATO), 1975-1979; The Armed Forces Staff College, Norfolk, VA, 1979-1986; Tinker Air Force Base, 1986-1991. John was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force and worked as Service Manager for Irwin Business Machines from 1991-2009. John was a licensed Amateur Radio Operator and held the call sign NO5X. He dearly loved the hobby, spending hours building, experimenting and working on electronics equipment. John was the founding member of the Near Space Exploration Group in which a group of local amateur radio operators attempt record breaking high altitude balloon launches carrying radio equipment. John's quick, quick wit, humor and cheerful, generous personality will be dearly missed. We will look forward to a glad reunion with John.

Billy Ray Manning, with family surrounding him, passed away at his home Tuesday, March 8, 2011. Billy had made his decision about his eternity years ago and left this life in peace to be embraced by his Savior and Lord. He was born April 9, 1950 in Oklahoma City to parents William Ray and Etta Mae Manning.

Billy spent years as a young boy in Ada however Bethany was where he grew up. Billy graduated from Central State University in 1976 and spent 35 years as a petroleum landman. Billy and Maryann met in May of 1991 after 5 years of dating, she finally convinced him that he couldn't live without her. They married in May of 1996. Besides Billy's love of golf, Maryann and Billy loved to travel to Hawaii where Billy loved the secluded island, Lani. Golf was more than a passion it was simply his way of life. Billy lived to the fullest as all who know would attest. He was a beloved father, brother, son, grandpa and husband and there are no words to express our grief.

Preceded in death by his parents and sister, Linda Mae Manning.

He is survived by his adoring wife, Maryann Manning; three children, Bonnie McKenzie and husband Brad, Leisha Lee and husband Tony, and Jason Manning and wife Dana; four perfect grandchildren, Savannah Jenkins, Colin Jenkins, Morgan Cummings, and his little princess Kayla Grace Lee; brother, Dean Manning and wife Beth; sister-in-law, Dee Blankenship; nephew, Justin Manning and wife Lindsey and their daughter Madeline; niece, Jenna Harlow and husband Josh.

Thurman C. "Butch" McLaughlin Jr., 63, of McAlester, Okla., died April 21, 2011, in Fort Smith. Service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Bishop Chapel of Memories with interment at Oak Hill Cemetery in McAlester, under direction of Bishop Funeral Service, with the Rev. Marvin Dunn officiating. He was born to Thurman Custer and Minnie Marie (Scott) McLaughlin Sr. on June 4, 1947, in Riverside, Calif. He enjoyed fishing. Butch was active at Walnut Grove Living Center, playing dominoes and bingo, and was active in the nursing home Olympics.

He is survived by two sons, Thurman C. Marian Grace (Williams) Reeves, 92, of Quinton, died Saturday, March 26, 2011, at McAlester Regional Health Center. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Quinton Christian Church with Billye Kay Givens and Charles Thomas officiating. Born April 12, 1918, in Quinton, she was the daughter of Clarence Alfred and Maude Lillian (Thompson) Williams and was the oldest of three girls.

She attended Quinton Public Schools where she graduated in 1935. She returned to school in 1944 and received an associates degree from Eastern Oklahoma State College. She went on to earn her bachelor's degree from Southeastern State College in Durant and her masters' degree from the University of Oklahoma. She married Bill Park in May 1937, and he preceded her in death in 1962. She later married J. D. (Blackie) Reeves. She had various occupations including schoolteacher, remedial reading teacher and a social worker with the Oklahoma Department of Welfare. She also co-owned and operated the Wilburton Flower Shop for several years. She was a talented artist and delighted her family and friends with gifts of her paintings. She was the president of the Women's Business and Professional Club, a longtime member of Daughters of the American Revolution and, since the age of 13, a member of the Quinton Christian Church. She hosted many gatherings in her home for her family and friends and her happiest moments were the ones she shared with them.

Survivors include two sisters, Maxine Edwards and Clarice Brazil and husband, Leon, of Quinton; stepgrandchildren, Dr. Amber Reeves-Daniel and husband, Dr. Kurt Daniel, and their children, Benjamin and Nadia Elizabeth, High Point, N.C., Captain Derek Reeves, based in Alaska, and Meagan Reeves, of Ada. Also, sister-in-law, Billie Jean Burger, of Okmulgee, and her "adopted" children, Dr. Billye Kay Givens, of Wilburton, and Betsy Ann and Richard Wilmes, Sherman, Texas; four nieces, Ginger Blankenship and husband, Ronnie, of Quinton, Dinah Deckwich, of Okmulgee, Susie Westbrook and husband, Rick, Madrid, N.M., and Jamie Lou Park, Chapel Hill, N.C. And, three nephews, Michael Edwards and wife, Susan, of Oklahoma City, Tommy Edwards and wife, Diane, Midland, Texas, Jay Edwards and wife, Vicky, Rogers, Ark., and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.

Mr. Blankenship died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011, at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born Jan. 13, 1935, near Ada to Edward and Cecile Vail Blankenship.

He attended Pleasant Hill and McLish grade schools and graduated from McLish High School in 1953. He graduated from Okmulgee Tech in December 1955 with a degree in auto mechanics. Mr. Blankenship was employed as a mechanic with Holnam Cement Plant, now Holcim from 1969 until retiring in May 1997. He was a member of Southwest Church of Christ and had served in the U.S. Army from 1957 until being honorably discharged in 1959. He married Ima Jean Bray on June 24, 1960.

Survivors include his wife, Ima Jean Blankenship, of the home; two daughters, Teresa Strong and her husband Gary, Ada, and Sheila Cheney and her husband Bill, Idabel; a brother, Charles Blankenship and his wife Rose, Ada; a sister, Carole Davis, Ada; three granddaughters, Rachel Bryan and her husband Brad, Heather Cheney and her fiancé, John Young, and Laura Strong.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, John Davis.

Services for Willard H. Campbell, 96, Ada, are 2 p.m. Friday at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Jared Newby officiating. Burial follows at Rosedale Cemetery. Chickasaw Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the cemetery.

Mr. Campbell died Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at a Wichita, Kan., hospital. He was born March 17, 1915, in Love County, Oklahoma, to William Glen and Alice Josephine Butler Campbell.

Until age 10, Mr. Campbell lived in a log farm house near Marietta and attended Keltner school. After a storm blew the house off its foundation, the family moved to a farm near Wilson in Carter County. He attended Zaneis School, from which he received his high school graduation diploma. Mr. Campbell's first job was leading a mule around the sorghum molasses press. He was 6 years old and earned 50 cents a day. As a child, he also shelled corn, roped cattle, and picked cotton. As a teenager and young man during the Great Depression, Willard worked for the WPA and the CCC. He taught himself to play the guitar and played in a country band. Mr. Campbell and his brother Lorne started a broom business in the early 1930s. He purchased his first car for $28, and travelled to grocery and hardware stores in Oklahoma, selling the brooms Lorne had made. He married Jewell France on June 22, 1935, in Ponca City. She died Aug. 26, 1988, in Ada. They settled in Seminole, and Mr. Campbell worked on the delivery truck for Collier Brothers' Furniture. He also worked nights for a funeral home as an ambulance driver. He moved up to salesman, and soon became sales manager for Collier Brothers. Mr. Campbell enlisted in the United States Navy in 1942. He was a Seabee and spent three years in the Pacific Theater, mostly in the Solomon Islands. In 1945, at the end of Wolrd War II, he was honorably discharged at the rank of chief petty officer first class. He moved to Ada in 1950, and soon after founded Campbell's Furniture. He owned and operated his furniture business in its original location for more than 60 years. He was a graduate of New York School of Interior Decorating and the Chicago Institute of Interior Design. In 2009, he was featured in an Oklahoma City television station special as the oldest businessman in the state. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Ada, a member of Sunrise Rotary Club, Ada Elks Lodge 1640, and Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity.

Survivors include a sister, Grace Culver of Berthoud, Colo.; his wife, Wanda Campbell, of the home; his daughter, Dr. Linda Campbell Mitchusson of Wichita, Kan.; a grandson, Eric Mitchusson of Kansas City; great grandsons, Wesley and Cody Mitchusson of Hutchinson, Kan.; a sister-in-law, Ann Campbell, Tulsa; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and "Josie" Campbell; five brothers, Clovis, Cleburn, Crockett, Lorne and Logan Campbell; two sisters, Dessie Blankenship and Dorothy Phillip; and his wife of 53 years, Jewell Campbell.

Bearers will be his nephew, Mike France, Doug Haney, Brian Hart, Danny Matthews, Charles Mayhue and George Veli. Honorary bearer will be Leland Newton.

Mr. Blankenship died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011 at an assisted living center in Edmond. He was born July 28, 1922 in Ada to Charles and Retta Jane Stewart Blankenship. He graduated from McLish High School. He married Ivaleta Roberts July 29, 1950 in Sherman, Texas. She preceded him in death Dec. 8, 2003 in Edmond. Mr. Blankenship was the owner and mechanic of Blankenship Garage. He was of the Baptist faith and had served in the U. S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include a son, Rony Blankenship and his wife Misty of Edmond; a daughter, Leah Moore and her husband Luther of Ponca City; a sister, Opal Boswell of Ft. Worth, Texas; and five grandchildren, Bryan Blankenship and his wife Christy of Oklahoma City, Scott Blankenship of Stillwater, Nick Blankenship of Edmond, Amanda Moore of Phoenix, Ariz., and Matthew Moore and his wife Laura of Anchorage, Alaska.

Mrs. Sellers died Monday, November 7, 2011 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born December 27, 1921 in Ada, Oklahoma to W. H. "Bob" and Alma Blankenship Northcutt. She attended Latta schools. She married Thad Sellers on August 20, 1938 in Konawa. He preceded her in death on February 6, 1988. They were married for 49 years. Mrs. Sellers was a homemaker and a longtime member of Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church in Ada.

Survivors include a son, Jim L. "Doc" Sellers and his wife June of Shawnee; her grandchildren, Connie Wilson, Sherrell Rolette, and Len Sellers, all of Shawnee; six great grandchildren, Larry, Tiffany, Jordan, Logan, Baylee and Cody; and one great great grandson, Brody.

He was preceded in death by her husband, and a son, Bobby Harold Sellers in 1992.

Michael Blankenship 52, of Duncan, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011, at his home. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, at the Empire Volunteer Fire Department. Michael was born Oct. 25, 1958, to Millard and Virginia Blankenship in Holdenville.

He was a retired volunteer firefighter with the Empire Fire Department. He loved spending time with his family and his grandson, Kaleb Ray Morris. He called him (Papa) and they loved to piddle together. And he loved being a firefighter and retired after 12 years. He was also a member of the NRA. Homer Francis Waggoner, 91, of Duncan, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011 at his home in Duncan.

Service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, in the Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Tracy L. Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the Duncan Cemetery under the direction of the Don Grantham Funeral Home.

Homer was born March 28, 1920 in Duncan to Francis T. and Mamie (Fortson) Waggoner. He was a graduate of Duncan High School and the University of Oklahoma, with a BS in chemistry. He married Joyce Cook on Dec. 12, 1942 in Duncan. He was a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, American Chemical Society and a registered Professional Engineer. Before employment by Halliburton Services in 1952, Homer received nine years of varied technical experience with the chemical and petroleum industries in the fields of fuels, high polymers and petroleum practices. He has had six years of experience as senior chemist and 22 years as development chemist in the cement section of the Chemical Research & Development Dept. of Halliburton. On March 1, 1981, he transferred to International Operations as Division Chemist for the Latin region. His major experience has been in the areas of cementing materials and techniques where he was responsible for the evaluation and recommending of cementing compositions for a wide variety of well conditions. Because of his experience, his advice and assistance have been frequently required in regard to recommendations for oil well cementing in both domestic and international operations. Since transferring to International Operations, he has been traveling to various countries in the Latin region to discuss cementing problems with Halliburton and customer engineering personnel.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce, of the home; a cousin, Phil Waggoner of Wichita Falls, Texas; a sister-in-law, Alma Jo Blankenship, of Duncan; and a niece, Sue Ellis of Duncan. Also, very special friends Tammy Click, of Abilene, Texas, and Loreitta Black, of Midland, Texas.

Bearers will be Phil Waggoner, Tatteh Franklin, Rudy Sanders, Bill Ray, Edgar Riggle Jr., Dennis Gray. Honorary bearers will be former fellow Halliburton employees.

Callie Marie Runyon was born November 11, 1926, at Camp, Okla., and passed away December 29, 2011, in, Okla., at the age of 85.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 31, 2011, at the Countyline Baptist Church, Countyline, Okla., officiated by the Rev. Roger Sims. Interment will follow at the Old Velma Cemetery, Velma, Okla. Her nephews will serve as pallbearers and honorary bearers will be the Orville Crossland family.

Marie was a Ratliff City resident and a member of the Baptist faith. She worked as a cook for over 20 years at various restaurants and was a homemaker. She was married to her first husband, Rayford Hudson Blankenship, on January 30, 1945, and he preceded her in death February 2, 1978. She was married to her second husband, Edgar Guy Runyon, on February 15, 1979, and he preceded her in death April 19, 1998. She was an avid seamstress and cook and enjoyed woodcrafting. She was also a member of several home extension clubs.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Lana and Doug Briscoe of Ratliff City, Okla., and a granddaughter, Angela Briscoe of Velma, Okla.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Green and Della Rae Mooney Norton; four brothers: Lonnie, Perchall, Odell and Calvin; and two sisters, Allie and Jessie.

Johnny is survived by 2 daughters, Julia Barton & husband Steve, of Frisco City, AL & Melissa Dutton & husband Howard, of Marlow; 1 grandson, Shawn K. Betty Dell Stevens West, 84, passed away, Friday, Feb. 18, 2011, with her family by her side. Services will be held Saturday, March 12, at 3pm at Floral Haven in Broken Arrow, OK.

Betty Dell was born on February 16, 1926, in Kaw City, to John and Beulah Stevens. She graduated from Central High School (OKC) in 1943. Betty was a most special person. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, and she will be missed by us all.

Survivors husband of 66 years, John F. West; daughter, Kathy Jo Lucarelli; granddaughters, Molly West-Cline, Shandra West, Gabriella Lucarelli; great-granddaughter, Jaycee Cline, niece, Elizabeth Blankenship; nephew, Robert Connelly.

Edwa Dean Mahan Woolf, 82 passed away December 17, 2010 at Glennwood Health Care in Glenpool, OK with her daughter, Jan Clark, by her side. Edwa Dean was born September 28, 1928 in Bee Branch, AR to John and Ora Mahan. She was the youngest of six children.

She attended Bigelow High School in Bigelow, AR until she met and married Hartsel Woolf in December of 1944. They moved to Kiefer, OK in 1952 where they remained until 1967. After brief moves to Manteca, California and Claremore, OK they returned to Glenpool in 1971. After retirement they built their dream home in Kiefer in 1983 and Edwa Dean returned to Glenpool in 1999.

Edwa Dean and Hartsel had three children: LaJan Clark of Glenpool, OK; Sharron Stuart of Georgetown, TX, and Gary Woolf of McKinney, TX ; Edwa Deans first profession was being a stay-at-home mother, wife and homemaker, excelling at all three. After her children left home, she accepted a position with Glenpool Schools in their food program until she retired. Her passion was being a great Meme to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and cooking meals for all who came to see her.

Edwa Dean was preceded in death by her parents; John and Ora Mahan, her husband, Hartsel, three brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her three children, grandchildren; Angela Chaffin and husband, Ky. of Sapulpa, OK. Shelley Blankenship and husband, Chad of Kiefer, OK; Kevin Clark of Tulsa, OK; Chelsea Ciraulo and husband Anthony of Richland, BC; Kendall Woolf of Flower Mound, TX; great-grandchildren; Grant Miller, Abby Chaffin, Libby Chaffin, Ella Chaffin, Colt Blankenship, Kinley Blankenship & Caleb Blankenship. Also, a host of friends and relatives.

Linda Kay Blankenship met Jesus face to face when she left this life on Tuesday July 12, 2011. She was born on April 1, 1947 in Bixby, Okla., to Floyd and Agnes (Butler) Hurt.

Linda attended school at McClain school in Tulsa, and she later earned an associate’s degree. On Dec. 21, 1962, Linda married Charles Blankenship when she was 15 years old and he was 20 years old. The couple was married for 46 years. Linda and Charles were long-time Owasso residents, and their children grew up and graduated in Owasso. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Owasso. Later, the couple moved to Talala, Okla., about 14 years ago, and Linda moved back to Owasso a year ago. Linda worked as a purchasing agent in the oil industry for about 18 years. Linda loved her children and grandchildren, and she was also a talented seamstress.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles, two years ago; and a great-grandson, Dexter Wayne.

She is survived by her children, Sue Ellen and Roger Nystrom, of Bixby, Okla., Chuck Blankenship, of Owasso, and Mike and Jolie Blankenship, of Talala; grandchildren, Brandon and Jessica Nystrom, David and Lana Nystrom, Rachael and Mikayla Blankenship and Scott and Emily Blankenship; great-grandchildren, Emiko and Cliff Nystrom; brothers, Loyd Hurt, of Grove, Okla., and Frank Hurt, of Spavinaw, Okla.

Pearl Audrey Blankenship was born November 5, 1925 to Bertie Loranzo Dow and Emily Missouri (Hyde) Shirley in Beggs, Oklahoma and passed from this life November 23, 2010 at the age of 85.

Pearl loved to fish as long there was someone there to bait the hook with worms. She would not touch a worm if her life depended on it. She loved to work with tools and build and tear down things. She loved to dance. The family remembers her and dad going out to dance. When he children were young dad played music on his violin, guitar or other instruments. He and Pearl loved to sing. She always looked forward to the time when she could sing. Outside of the home, Pearl worked at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa as a surgical technician where she sent surgical instruments to be cleaned and then would reinstall them in the right kits for surgery. She liked her job and the people she worked with.

Preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Jewel Lowery, and Ruby James; her brothers, Ruben, Earl and Austin Shirley; her grandchildren, Timothy Douglas Hendrix, Houston Owen and Arthur Wayne Pridemore;

Pearl is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Melissa Leah and John David Hendrix of Oklahoma; her son, Kenneth Wayne Blankenship of Moscow, Tennessee; her sisters, Lois Adams, of Oklahoma and Ruth Garrett of Whitefish, Montana; her brother, Joe Shirley of Simmesport, Louisiana;, her grandchildren, Katurah Ann Christiansen of Vernal, Utah, Audrey Eveylen Graham of Wyandotte, Oklahoma, Sarah Ann Conner of Sandy, Utah, Matthew Owen Pridemore of Missouri, John J. Hendrix of White Settlement, Texas, Athena Hendrix of Everman, Texas and Andrew Rhodes Blankenship of Collier, Tennessee; 20 great grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Pearl will lie in state 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday with the family receiving friends from 5-7 p.m. and her funeral will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, both at the Ninde Brookside Funeral Home, 3841 S. Peoria. She will be laid to rest at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Richard S. Baldwin, age 72 of Tulsa, Oklahoma, died June 19, 2011 at his home after a battle with cancer. He proceeded in death by his parents Clarence (Caddy) and Reba Baldwin of Hewett, W. V. Richard attended Scott High School before entering the US Army where he served overseas as military police. He was a retiree from American Airlines and an active member of Tulsa Akdar Shrine.

He survived by his wife of fifty years, Helen (Dotson) Baldwin, three children Lesa Baldwin, Sapulpa, OK., Doug Baldwin, Kellyville, OK., Scott Baldwin and wife Mary Lynn, Fort Gibson, OK., and four grandchildren, Dustin, Jennifer, and Leighton Baldwin. He is also survived by one brother Danny Baldwin, Madison, W.V, four sisters, Barbara McKinney, Owassa, OK., Susie Straight, Lancaster, OH., Sharon Blankenship, Hudson, FL., and Jerrianne Baldwin, ME, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were performed June 23, 2011 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel. Final resting place is Veterans Field of Honor, Floral Haven Memorial Garden, Tulsa, OK.

Nelda Rice Wilson, 80, passed away surrounded by her family July 31st in Tulsa, OK. Words can't adequately describe her larger than life personality and colorful way of making even the most simple things into something extraordinary! Nelda was born January 19th to Ernest and Fan Rice in Chandler, OK.

She graduated from Cushing High School and is credited with forming the Cushing High School Alumni assoc. Nelda was employed with the Cushing Daily Citizen and was formerly the Drumright Newspaper editor. She owned a music publishing company and enjoyed booking various recording artists. Most recently she wrote articles for the Corridor Magazine. Nelda's imagination and creative abilities knew no bounds. Nelda's greatest joy has always been her family. She was blessed with two daughters from her first marriage, Prisci and ReNae. Nelda married her devoted husband Joe nearly 46 years ago. They have one daughter named Lori. Joe and Nelda moved to Tulsa in 1999 after being longtime Cushing residents to enjoy their young grandchildren. Nelda introduced her grandchildren to so many amazing experiences through theater and music. There are many "Nelda" memories through the years and she will live forever in our hearts.

Service at Downtown Bixby Church of Christ Wednesday, August 3rd at 200pm officiated by her dear cousin The Reverend Charles Rice of Pennsylvania. Cushing service will be held graveside 10am Thursday August 4th.

She is survived by loving husband Joe Wilson, daughter Renae daughter and son-in-law Prisci and Steve Loveland, daughter and son-in-law Lori Lynn and Kerry Blankenship. Grandchildren are Kristen Wasson, Shelli Shaffer, Jana Wood, Kerri Wiley, Melissa Boles, Greg Morgan, Gentry Lane, Lindsay Blankenship, Kennedy Blankenship, Will Blankenship and Elliot Blankenship. 15 great-grandchildren.
