Mersdorf, Roy C. of Bay City, Michigan. Mr. Mersdorf passed away Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Brian's House at the Age of 86 years. The son of the late Charles and Lillian (Jacobs) Mersdorf was born July 4, 1925 in Bay City.

He worked for many years at Bay Refinery and retired from Dow Ziploc Bags. He had a great love for his family; he played on a pool league, enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and camping. Mr. Mersdorf served in the U.S. Army with Headquarters Battery 78th Armored Field Artillery Battalion during WWII with his twin brother Ray. They were both tank drivers in Italy.

He is survived by six children: Linda (David) Blankenship of Bay City, Elizabeth "Becky" (Dennis) Malusi of Cedar Springs, MI, Theresa (Ron) Perkins of Canyon Lake, TX, Ellen Switala of Bay City, Dwight "Ike" Mersdorf of Canyon Lake, TX and Virginia"Gina" (John) Syring of Bay City; one daughter-in-in-law, Alicia Mersdorf; sixteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; his twin brother with whom he was inseparable, Ray Mersdorf.

In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife, the former Virginia S. Richardson whom he married October 14, 1946. She passed away July 2, 2008; one son, Roy Edward Mersdorf, who passed away March 15, 2011; his sisters and brothers: Argetta Cousins, Clifford and Charles Mersdorf and Eleanor Barteau; his sister-in-law, Cecelia Mersdorf.

The funeral service took place Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating was Rev. Fr. Craig Albrecht with interment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery followed by Military Honors conducted by the Bay County Veterans Council.

Mildred Jean of Kawkawlin, Michigan. Age 68 years, died February 14, 2011. She was born in Bay City on October 2, 1942 to the late Melvin G. and Elodia (Roupe) Peterson.

Survivors include four children: Dawn (Robert) Sachs, Eugene (Amy) Ballor Jr., Jeanette (Kenneth) Stoller and Douglas (Brenda) Ballor; eight grandchildren: Brandon (Kayla) Hitch, Autumn and Robert Sachs, Kourtni and Heather Stoller, Zachary and Cameron Ballor and Leatha (Tony) Smerdon; six great grandchildren; two brothers, Melvin (Nita) Peterson and Kenneth (Carolyn) Peterson; a sister-in-law Evelyn Johnson and a special friend Joyce Blankenship.

She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Ballor, Sr. and three brothers: Robert, Donald and Roger Peterson.

Funeral service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the Salvation Army Church. Capt. Shirley Myers and Kenneth Peterson will officiate. Burial will be at Floral Gardens Cemetery.

Otherine "Billie" Horton, 92, formerly of Benton Harbor, passed away early on Sunday, July 31, 2011, at Orchard Grove Extended Care Centre in Benton Harbor.

Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011, at the Fairplain Chapel of Florin Funeral Service, 1153 E. Napier Ave., Benton Harbor, with Pastor Roy Jeffrey and Harold Puckett officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery in Bridgman.

Billie was born on Nov. 12, 1918, in Judsonia, Ark., to William and Alpha May Cartwright. On April 22, 1946, she married William Horton and together they had six children. Billie enjoyed playing bingo, sewing and quilting in her leisure time. Most of all, Billie cherished time spent with her friends and family - particularly with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Billie is survived by her children, Sylvia (Jim) Blankenship of Bangor, Linda Copeland of Paragould, Ark., Thomas (Sherry) Horton of Watervliet and Luzette Stump of St. Joseph; 22 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Billie was preceded in death by her husband, William; by her children, Craig and Patricia; and by her brothers and sisters.

John Alvin Vandegriff, Sr., 90, of Battle Creek, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2010 at Battle Creek Health System surrounded by his children. He was born April 16, 1920 in Bethel, OH the son of Alvin and Sarah (Daley) Vandegriff.

He married the late Virginia (Chingwa) Vandegriff on September 21, 1952 in Northville, MI. John served in the U.S. Air Force for 23 years in addition to working other jobs like a night watchmen at Knappen-Milling to provide for his family. After retiring from the U.S. Air Force he worked and retired from Clark Equipment. He had been a member of a number of organizations including the Saladin Shriners, Scottish Rite Lodge, Free & Accepted Masons, 33 Degree Mason, Lodge 398, VFW, American Legion, and The Eagle's. John was also a member of the St. Jerome Parish. John loved tending to his plants, cooking, spending time with his family, and especially playing cards. For many years he looked forward to his bi-weekly meetings at the Knights of Pythians and made sure he was on there time.

John is survived by his children, Eileen (Duane Blankenship) Yeager, John (Linda) Vandegriff, Jr., Grant (Tammy) Vandegriff, and Laura Ure; he was especially proud of his grandchildren, Larry, Tony, John III, Sean, Alexis, Jenny, Samantha, Shalyn, and Alec; great granddaughter, Alaila; good friends, John Forney and Jo McClenney.

He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia; parents; grandson, Daniel Yeager; favorite son-in-law, Tim Ure; his brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held Monday, 9:00 A.M. at the Bachman Funeral Chapel with Pastor Robert L. Zuhl of First Wesleyan Church officiating. Burial will be at the Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI.

Battle Creek, MI from 2-4PM & 5-7PM, with funeral services on Monday March 14, 2011 at 1:00PM at the funeral home. Al, Bucky, Dad, Big-D, G-pa, Great Grandpa, and most of all, our loving “COACH” will be carried proudly to Fort Custer National Cemetery following the service.

Robert R. Blankenship, age 62, died February 26, 2012, at the VA Medical Hospital in Battle Creek, MI.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Elaine Blankenship. Robert attended Lakeview Schools until joining the Marines in 1969. He served in the 1st Marine Division in the artillery in Vietnam. Robert held various jobs throughout the years, one of his favorites was being a grounds person at Fort Custer National Cemetery

Robert is survived by a brother, Gary Blankenship; and sisters, Gail Myers and Jane Rouse; nine nieces and nephews; and many cousins.

Services will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery on March 1, 2012 at 11:00.

James D. Blankenship, age 81, and longtime Grand Ledge area resident, passed away April 23, 2011 in Troy, Michigan. James was born August 5, 1929 in Conway, Missouri to the late Frank and Clara (Gann) Blankenship. He served in the Navy from 1946 through 1950 and was later employed, as a computer programmer, by Diamond Reo and Oldsmobile in Lansing. He enjoyed golfing and gardening and was a lifelong supporter of the educational pursuits of his children and grandchildren.

His wife of 57 years, Edith, and sister, Frances, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his children, Linda (Ray) Leyko, Brent (Sherry) Blankenship, Susan and Lori Blankenship; grandchildren, Aaron, Beth, Jenny, Jamie, Lucas, Jana, Travis, Trenton, and Hunter; and great-grandchild, Maddox. He is also survived by his sister, Alice (Jim) Keesling; and numerous nephews and nieces, including Sharon Smith.

The family will receive friends Saturday, April 30, 2011 at the Holihan-Atkin Funeral Home, Grand Ledge, 12:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 pm. Interment with military honors will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Grand Ledge.

Dorothy L. Rickle, 91, of Potterville, MI died Saturday, September 25, 2010. Mrs. Rickle was born November 5, 1918 in Lexington, TN, the daughter of Rev. Deward and Florence (Cox) Blankenship.

She is survived by her sons; Michael (Beth) Rickle of Potterville, Robert (Alice) Rickle of Silver City, NM, Gregory (Nina) Rickle of Midland, Steve (Kathy) Rickle of Dimondale; 6 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 2006. Dorothy enjoyed her flowers, pets and loved her family. She was a member of Eastern Star in Potterville. She remembers crossing the Mississippi River in a covered wagon at the age of 4.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM on Friday, October 1, 2010 at Pray Funeral Home with Reverend Rebecca Morrison officiating. Interment will be at Deepdale Memorial Gardens.

Jack was born February 5, 1932 in Princeton, WV, the son of Oakley and Stella (Miller) Lusk. He retired from General Motors. Mr. Lusk enjoyed hunting, spending time with family and friends and loved Bluegrass Music.

Surviving are: daughters, Linda Lusk, Rhonda (Michael Nelson) Lusk, Karen (Harry) Haag; step daughters, Carol (Dale) Blankenship Daggett, Michele Lusk Corry; sisters, Sandra Lusk Charles, Judith Lusk Fleming; numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Payne was born February 2, 1960 in Flint, the son of Carroll and Margaret (Hart) Payne. He was a 1978 graduate of Carmen High School. He has resided in Flint for most of his life. Mr. Payne married Pamela Blankenship October 4, 2003 in Farwell. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Surviving are: wife, Pamela Crafts; four children, Sarah Crafts of Flint, Angie Payne of Iowa, Krystal Payne of Iowa and Preston Payne of Alabama; two granddaughters, Chloe and Leah; brother, Mike Payne of Cass City; two sisters, Margo Payne of Farwell and Beth Little of Farwell; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and favorite sister-in-law, Sherrie Deskins.

Davidson, Peggy Blye (Ellison) – Age 79, died at home Thursday, February 10, 2011 after a long battle with ovarian cancer. Peggy was born in Ghent, W. Virginia December 29, 1931, the daughter of Frank and Hattie (Martin) Ellison. She married Bryan Davidson September 14, 1968 and lived in Flint all her married life.

Surviving are husband Bryan, two sisters; Josephine Hope of Swartz Creek, Rosemary Blankenship of W. Virginia; daughter Tammy Thomas; brother-in-law, Bud (Judy) Davidson; sister-in-law, Wilma (Thomas) McCabe; one niece and several nephews.

The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, February 14, 2011 at the Reigle funeral home. Pastor Steve Wood will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery.

Garth was born January 9, 1937 in Flint, the son of Arlo and Estella (McDonald) Daggett. He was a 1956 graduate of Flint Central High School and was married to Lois Margaret Stoddard on August 24, 1957. Mr. Daggett retired from McDonald Dairy with 45 years of service.

 Left to cherish his memory: wife of 54 years, Lois; children, Dale (Carol) Daggett of Swartz Creek, Robin (Wade) Hitchcock of Genesee, Dawn (Rev. Funeral services for Virginia (Faye) Hall, 68, of Grand Blanc, Mich., will be held at 2 p.m. (EST) on Friday, Nov. 11, at Swartz Funeral Home in Flint, Mich. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon until 8 p.m. (EST) today, Thursday, Nov. 10, and from 10 a.m. (EST) until time of services on Friday at the funeral home.

Ms. Hall died Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011, at her residence. She was born Sept. 5, 1943, in Bakerville to the late Jessie and Bessie Brake Woods. Ms. Hall was a resident of Cookeville for the past 25 years. She was employed with Hamady Brothers in Grand Blanc. Faye loved gardening, woodworking, sewing crafts and fishing.

Her family includes three daughters, Deborah Brown and friend Kenneth Brown, Kimberly Ritter and Dorinda and husband Robert Sosh; two sons, Delano Jr. and wife Holly Hall and Jerry Ritter and friend Janie Moore; three brothers, Jerry, Jim and Robert Woods; 13 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and many loved nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Moureen Ritter; a brother, Steven Woods; and two sisters, Betty Chappell and Linda Blankenship.

Carrie A. (Quick) Blankenship - age 91, of Linden, died Monday, November 7, 2011 at Avalon Hospice. Graveside services will be held 11 AM Friday, November 11, 2011 at Fairview Cemetery, Linden.

Carrie was born August 1, 1920 in Sterling, the daughter of John and Carrie G. (Fox) Ellison. She married Donald W. Quick October 15, 1939 in Standish and he preceded her in death January 9, 1979, she then married Woodrow Blankenship in 1992 and he preceded her in death July 27, 1995. She had resided in Linden since 1948. Carrie had been employed by Linden Presbyterian Church for 25 years as a custodian and also did upholstery and restored furniture. She was a member of Linden Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed farming with her husband Donald from 1949 to 1978. She especially enjoyed crocheting.

Surviving are: daughter, Geraldine Kay Coppler of Linden; 2 grandchildren, Richard Coppler, Jr. and wife Victoria of Swartz Creek and Janice Coppler of Linden; 4 grandchildren, Jacqulyn, Aaron and Andrew Coppler and Nicholas Adams; 3 stepsons, Eugene and wife Barb Blankenship , Oscar and wife Pat Blankenship and Mark Blankenship ; stepdaughter, Shirley and husband E. G. Politte; 2 brothers, Jack Ellison of Sterling and Douglas Ellison; 3 sisters, Virginia Myer, Mary Watson and Polly Avery and husband Robert; several nieces and nephews.

Douglas E. Smith - age 83, of Linden, died Thursday, November 10, 2011. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Monday, November 14, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 East Broad Street, Linden. Chaplain Steve Hittle, of Heartland Hospice will officiate. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Linden.

Mr. Smith was born in Pulaski, VA on September 20, 1928. He worked in the radio and TV industry for over 60 years and was well known in the Flint and Detroit areas. He was named Country Music Disc Jockey Of The Year in 1953 and conducted teen dances in the 1950's and 60's all over Michigan. He was the past commander of the VFW Post 4642 in Linden and was a veteran of the Naval Reserves.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Helen F. Smith (Byrd); father and mother, George and Stella Smith; brothers, Earl and Edgar and sister, Ethel.

He is survived by his son, Mark and Dawn Smith of Linden; daughters, Lisa and Bill Montgomery of Linden and Teah Samek of Corunna; grandchildren, Rachel Medicus and Charity Montgomery of Sebring, FL, Veronica and KEllen Samek of Corunna and Jordan, Jade and Marquis Smith of Owosso; nephews, John and Lucy Blankenship of Frankenmuth, Joe and Monica Blankenship of Owosso, Steven Smith of Rocky Gap, VA; nieces, Pamela Morrison of Pulaski, VA and Vicki Kraus of Midlothian, TX.

Benjamin F. "Ben" Porter, age 75, of Pittsford, passed away May 19, 2011. Ben was born Feb. 12, 1938, in Hudson the son of Frank and Nora (Sines) Porter.

On Feb. 19, 1973, he married the love of his life, Darlene. He was an avid gardener and loved to fish. In addition to his wife, Darlene, Ben is survived by his children, Darlene (Carl) Blankenship, Benjie Porter, April (Jack) Patterson, Shawn (Laurie) Porter, Teresa (Dale) Sharrar, Todd Porter and Tadd (Melissa) Porter and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson and a great granddaughter.

At his request, cremation has taken place and there will not be any services.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Harold; son, Kenneth W. (Patricia) of Rutherfordton, NC; 2 grandchildren, Kristin and Kyle of Linden, NC; 2 great-grandchildren, Adam and Jordan also of Linden, NC; 2 sisters, Donna Harder (Bill) of Lansing, and Barbara Smith of Mason. She enjoyed camping, crafts and golfing. She was a member of the Delta Mills United Methodist Church.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 23, 2012, at the Delta Mills United Methodist Church, 6809 Delta River Drive, Lansing with Rev. Brian Blankenship officiating.

Jirgens, Elaine E. "Aunt Smokie" Of Kalamazoo, Elaine began her life's journey on March 6, 1934, in "Phoenixville", PA, and took her final coffee break in "Phoenix" AZ, January 26, 2011, with her husband of 60+ years, Zigfrids, by her side.

Elaine leaves behind five children, William (Robin) Jirgens, Maija (Steve Bird) Jirgens, Ziggy Jirgens, Jr., Peter (Chris) Jirgens, and Rita Jirgens. Elaine loved her jewelry, but her true gems were her five grandchildren, Dana Blankenship , Ryan Blankenship , Jennifer Rayman, Chad Jirgens, and grandma's princess, Zoe Jirgens-Smalla; three great grandchildren, Mason Blankenship , Morgan and Gavin Rayman; Godchild, Silvia Fride; nieces, nephews, and Morris, her cat.

Elaine's interests included taking care of her first love, Zigfrids, her family and friends. She loved cooking, making snack-os, scrapbooking, shopping, traveling, dancing, and entertaining. She always worried about others instead of herself, giving above and beyond. She was kind hearted, and always called every day to see what was happening. Elaine enjoyed working at Perrigo Pharmaceutical Company for 27 years, where she made lifetime friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1:00 PM in the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St.

Rodney L. Blankenship, age 57, of Tipton, passed away unexpectedly on September 3, 2010, at his home. He was born June 24, 1953, in Roseville, Michigan, the son of Rod and Dolores (Settles) Blankenship.

He was a graduate of Wayne State University. He was married to Donna Permenter on July 21, 1983, in Toledo, Ohio and she survives. Rod enjoyed volunteering for Habitat for Humanity. He retired from the Center for Forensic Psychiatry as a training instructor in 2006. He was currently a CPR instructor for Lenawee County and coordinator for CERT.

He is survived by his wife, Donna (Permenter) Blankenship; his parents, Rod and Dolores Blankenship; and one brother, Greg Blankenship. He is also survived by three children, Jeri (Alex) Parker, Josh (Brandi) Blankenship, and Jamie Marr; and four grandchildren, Breanna and Michael Blankenship and Lexi and Nick Marr.

Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by her husband: John D. Baker.

She is survived by: 2-Daughters: Maryann Woodard and Janet (Dan) Houston, 2-Sons: Edward (Dee) Baker – Kenneth (Nancy) Baker, 4-Sisters: Opal Jackson, Imal Eickler, Ollie Blankenship, Carol (Ernest)  Blankenship. Also, survived by 11-Grandchildren, 19 Great-Grandchildren, several Nieces and Nephews.

Osuna, Jesus "Jesse" Beloved father, grandfather, brother and uncle of Saginaw, Michigan passed away on Friday, April 22, 2011 at St. Mary's of Michigan, age 68 years. Jesse Osuna was born on August 28, 1942 in Harlingen, Texas to the late Julio and Guadalupe (Esquivel) Osuna.

He married Teodora Hernandez on August 30, 1963. She predeceased him on April 4, 2003.

Surviving are his five children: Cyndi (Rick) Mosqueda, Jesse Osuna, Jr., Belinda (Frank) Blankenship, Julio Osuna and Thomas (Vicky) Osuna; grandchildren: Jessica (Manison), Stephanie (Ruben), Carrie, Seth, Rainelle, Kamiya and Danyelle; two great grandchildren, Lily and Marcus; and two brothers and five sisters: Abel (Mary), Homer, Frances, Janie, Elena, Ophelia, Gloria. Also surviving is a special nephew, Tony Botello. The Osuna family would like to give a special thanks to aunts Ophelia, Martha, and Janie for their love and support. Jesse was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Christina Elizabeth Osuna; and a brother, Pastor Reyes Osuna.

Jesse's Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at the Deisler Funeral home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd. (off State). Rev. Jerry Flores will officiate with the burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Mosqueda, Ricardo of Saginaw, Michigan. Heaven has lifted another angel. Beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend Rick went to be with the Lord on April 23, 2011. Rick was born on November 16, 1959 in Saginaw, Michigan where he resided.

He graduated from Saginaw High School in 1977 and worked for the City of Saginaw for 21 years. Rick was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Rick was also an avid bowler for many years and was known by many throughout the bowling community. Anyone who knew Rick, knew he loved his family, bowling and the University of Michigan, the "maize and blue". Go Blue!

Surviving is his wife Cynthia Mosqueda and three daughters; Jessica (Manison) Toney of Auburn, Indiana; Rainelle and Danyelle Mosqueda, at home. Siblings: Ramon (Rosario) Mosqueda, San Antonio, TX; Emma (David) Chantaca, Birch Run; Sonia Mosqueda and Ruben Silvas, Holland; Ruben (Marcella) Mosqueda, Saginaw. In-laws: Jesse Osuna, Jr., Belinda (Frank) Blankenship, Julio Osuna and Thomas (Vickie) Osuna, all of Saginaw; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents Ruperto and Delores Mosqueda and his in-laws Jesse and Teodora Osuna. Rick enjoyed spending time with his wife and children, taking his daughters bowling and listening to Mexican/Tejano music.

Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 915 S. 6th Avenue. His family will receive friends at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, from 2:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Monday, and then at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of funeral Mass.

Robert Dean Anglemyer, 63, died Wednesday at his home.

He is survived by his four sisters, Frances (Emmeth) Engeseth and Carol Anglemyer, both of Delton, Judy Anglemyer, Elkhart, Ind., and Kathy Blankenship, Grand Junction; and four brothers, Donald (Ruth) Anglemyer, Decatur, Jerry Anglemyer, Cassopolis, Tom (Marcia) Anglemyer, Union, and Dennis Anglemyer (Bonnie Walma), Dora.

A graveside service will take place July 15 at 10:30 a.m. at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Cassopolis. There will be a memorial gathering at Victory Missionary Baptist Church, Decatur, following the graveside service.

Marion Blankenship, 66, of Mendon, died Friday, July 1, 2010 at the Three Rivers Health, Emergency Room. She was born in Dowagiac on April 27, 1944 the daughter of Clyde W. and Dorothy M. (Johnson) Davis. She was married to Benny Blankenship on Jan. 21, 1960 in Goshen, Ind. They resided in Marcellus and Jones before moving to Mendon in 1963. Marion was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, reading, and her cats.

Marion is survived by a daughter, Doris Blankenship of Sturgis; a son, David Blankenship of Mendon; a brother, Jerry Jacobs of Ludington; four sisters, Linda Jacobs, Lou Ann Olsen both of Marcellus, Marie Sears, and Mary Riggs both of Niles; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Benny in 1983; two brothers, Richard and Ray Davis; and two sisters, Meredith Bainbridge and Marguerite Cleland.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 7 at the funeral home followed by burial in Mendon Cemetery.

Jacqueline Sue Johnson was born on November 23, 1946 in McRoberts, Kentucky. She was one of eight children born from the union of the late Creed Johnson and the late Ada (Johnson) Johnson. She attended school at Lookout and Virgie Elementary Schools. She married Junior Rollyson on March 13, 1964. He passed away in 1968. She then married Paul Hunt. Later she married Victor Campbell in 2002 and he passed away June 30, 2003.

Sue loved to go to church, and she had found a church home when attending the Community Freewill Baptist Church in Ypsilanti. She also loved to just sit and enjoy the outdoors. She enjoyed shopping, and loved collecting angels. Music was another of her favorite pastimes whether it was just listening, playing the piano, or even dancing, which her family stated she could out-dance every one of them, music brought her joy. At one time she enjoyed crafts, but her all time favorite was her grandchildren.

Jacqueline Sue Campbell age 63 of Ypsilanti, formerly of Monroe, Warren and Prosperity, WV passed away at 5:15pm, Monday, April 5, 2010 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ypsilanti. In addition to her parents and two husbands her passing was preceded by a brother: Robert Johnson and a sister: Illine Blair.

Friends may gather from 10:00am until 1:00pm, Thursday, April 8, 2010 at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734) 384-5185. A Celebration of Her Life will take place at 1:00pm with the Rev. Milford Byrd Interim Pastor of First Freewill Baptist Church in Ypsilanti officiating. Procession will follow to Ridgeway Township Cemetery in Ridgeway for burial.

She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters: Tammy (Keith) Mullins of Oakboro, NC and Tina Johnson of Beckley, WV; two sons: Paul (Heather) Hunt of Ypsilanti, MI, and Richard (Tammie) Hunt of Ypsilanti, MI; three sisters: Faye Johnson of Newport and Wilma (Roger) Chandler of Newport, and Judy (Vertine) Malone of Eaton Rapids, MI; two brothers: Tim Johnson of Macomb Township, MI and Tom (Rose) Johnson of Greer, SC; ten grandchildren: Amber, Tylor, David, Miaya, Joshua, Austin, Bailey, Jacob, Tonya, and Olivia; one great grandson: Tommy Blankenship; and many nieces and nephews.
